Johor Bahru City Square is ushering in the festive season with the Merry Circus Festival, running from 28 November to 28 December 2025. The mall is transforming into a colourful holiday destination featuring themed rewards, creative workshops, carnival activities, and a line-up of Christmas performances.
The Christmas Treasures programme allows shoppers to redeem exclusive seasonal items. Spending RM300 in up to three receipts entitles visitors to a Christmas tree coaster, while spending RM600 in up to six receipts offers the chance to collect a Christmas snow house storage box. A separate wrapping service is also available; customers who spend RM50 in a single receipt can enjoy complimentary gift wrapping for up to two items from noon to 9pm.
Creative enthusiasts can join a selection of Christmas workshops throughout December. Sessions include handmade tree crafts, soft clay decoration, snow globe making, sand-painting candles, and aroma stone crafting. Workshops are held daily at either 1pm and 5pm or 7pm and 9pm depending on the activity, with dates clearly scheduled for participants to plan ahead.
The festival also features carnival game stations, where a spend of RM50 in up to two receipts allows visitors to take part in three different games to receive mystery gifts. Games such as roller bowler, lucky ball, and duck fishing provide a fun activity option for both adults and children between 12pm and 9pm.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the mall has arranged a variety of Christmas performances. Visitors can catch themed dances, Santa walkabouts, balloon sculpting, carolling sessions, and seasonal entertainment on selected dates. The performances are spaced out over the weekends in December, offering multiple opportunities to enjoy the holiday programming.
